Your workers can ask to be enrolled if they earn less than the £10,000 trigger – as long as they earn at least the lower level threshold, currently £6240.

These are the earnings between £6240* and £50,270* p.a upon which pension contributions will be made. (*2024/25.) 

Employers can choose to base contributions on qualifying earnings only or all earnings.
