Why should employers do a Training Needs Analysis?

As well as identifying priority development areas, a TNA will also help determine which kind of support would be best suited to achieve them – it’s not always about training courses. A focused TNA will target employee needs and avoid wasting money training employees who don’t need it, or spending money on the wrong type of interventions.

How do you conduct a Training Needs Analysis?

Led by myHRdept’s Head of L&D, we will tailor a skills matrix for your core roles so you can easily assess your staff’s development priorities, identify common development areas (which can often be most economically resourced) and individual needs. From there we will create a training plan for you to discuss and agree with your team.
