myHRdept is a standalone ‘HR department’ with 16 years’ experience of supporting SME businesses most of whom do not have their own internal HR team. We also support the internal HR teams of larger companies and are trusted by prestigious law firms and accountancy practices to provide HR support to their clients.   

Our Company provides the full range of HR services one would expect from an in-house HR team.  These include employment law advice, employment contracts, HR policies, case management of HR processes (parental laws, disciplinary, grievance, discrimination, working time, absence, performance etc.), administrative services, recruitment services (charged separately), document management, absence and holiday software etc. 

We are a privately owned Company located to the West of London but with clients throughout the UK.  We have built an excellent reputation for customer service, pragmatism and commercially focussed HR.  We also support the UK arms of businesses based in Spain, France, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, Jersey, the USA and others.

Our staff include a former practicing employment solicitor; a Coca-Cola HRD; Head of HR for RHM and a former Harrods Employee Relations Manager.  We are experienced people bound by a desire to help smaller employers with our expertise.

myHRdept was set up in 2002 by former Coca-Cola HR Director Bill Larke and has been providing HR support services since. HR outsourcing covers everything from employment law compliance to coaching and over the years we’ve created a robust consultancy that can flex to our customers’ needs. There are many HR Consultancies out there, myHRdept customers are happy to recommend us because of our track record of excellent customer service.

Outsourcing makes sense, and is a growing trend in business. An outsourced HR service ensures that clients are compliant with employment law, have access to experienced HR people who can advise on best practice HR processes and case management services, provides real administrative support and acts as an experienced sounding board for business plans and their impact on people.  Each of our packages comes with a defined number of support hours (varying by numbers of employees and known projects at the outset of the contract) but all provide (aside from support hours) one or more employment contracts and a comprehensive staff handbook.  

Our services reflect the size and type of business and the challenges immediately in front of you.  We don’t insist on multi-year packages and so we may well start at one level and then look to reduce the input in the second year (once a troublesome issue has been dealt with for example.)   Other providers will insist on multiyear deals…we advise you to avoid these operators – our clients stay with us because they want to, not because they have to.
