26/01/2022 – Many companies have already switched to hybrid working, and home working has become mainstream, rather than the preserve of the few, as was the case prior to the pandemic. Some industries and sectors will do well from this economic shift – the delivery sector, housing and construction and their respective suppliers, as people adapt homes and shopping patterns to suit their new working lives.
20/01/2022 – The average time for an employment tribunal claim to make its way from the initial form (ET1) to an actual hearing is, currently, 335 days. Add on to that the time it takes a claimant to actually submit the claim form (which can be up to 6 months from the incident in dispute) and that’s the best part of a year and a half.

With a proven track record of providing HR support to organisations large and small, our team of 12 include ex HR Directors, Solicitors, ER and HR Advisors and HR Administrators – all under one roof. We’re not a call centre and we don’t insist on long term contracts. myHRdept offers a personal touch.
HR Support Packages
Our core business is the provision of ongoing HR support to employers, but we can also offer assistance with a single HR project, such as a redundancy or a complex case, or just drafting legally compliant documents. One-off projects are taken on subject to our team’s current workload.
Over the years we have established excellent working relationships with other service providers. We are happy to introduce our clients to trusted providers including payroll, accountancy, healthcare and health and safety. Our partners share our desire to provide a quality personal service to our clients.
We aim to help clients simplify their HR & improve efficiency. Our preferred HR information system is intuitive and used by approaching 9,000 SMEs. The system, which we offer on a fully-supported or software-only basis, automates holiday and absence management and personnel files. Additional functions include expenses management, and a recruitment system.
Our team includes a highly experienced resourcer who recruits for client vacancies using advertised and search (headhunting) methodology. We offer excellent rates for our clients, with no up-front fees. Our resourcer works to the same high quality standards as our HR team, and many of our clients (and candidates) have complimented our refreshing approach to shortlisting. Salaries for roles filled range from under £20K to £175K.
myHRdept was established in 2002 to support the needs of employers. Today we provide HR support to pubs hotels and michelin starred restaurants, retailers, film and media, leisure companies, care homes, charities, IT companies, logistics and distribution operations, not-for-profits, schools, nurseries and even spacemen (well OK, a company developing satellites.)
