Redundancy - 2 minute guide to managing a redundancy process

This free guide takes you step by step through the management of a redundancy process, both for 'unique' redundancies (where only 1 role and 1 employee are involved) and for redundancies where a number of employees are involved and a selection exercise is required.

This free guide takes you step by step through the management of a redundancy process, both for 'unique' redundancies (where only 1 role and 1 employee are involved) and for redundancies where a number of employees are involved and a selection exercise is required.

This guide is not suitable for a collective redundancy process. A collective redundancy process is where 20 or more employees are to be made redundant in a 90 day period in one location. This may not always be as clear cut as it would appear. If you feel you may have, or unsure whether you have a collective redundancy situation contact us.

In some redundancy situations there may be a number of stages and this 2 minute guide (in common with all our 2 minute guides) contains links to all the relevant myhrdept.co.uk documents needed for managing each stage of the redundancy process. All of the documents to which the guide is linked are free to our subscribers, who are also able to make use of our advisory service when managing redundancies and other HR processes. Subscribing to our services is easy, provides peace of mind and cover for all your HR needs. Please contact us to discuss subscription options.

If you are not a subscriber you may purchase any or all of the documents required during a redundancy process on an individual basis. You can also view the documents that may be required by clicking here.
