With effect from 1st October 2009 the National Minimum Wage rates are as foolows
22yrs and over - £5.80
18-21 yrs - £4.83. This rate also applies to and aged 22+ who are doing accredited training and are in their first 6 months of employment
Under 18 yrs - £3.57
Don't forget that not all courses are classed as accredited training, so check with your training provider
